The Chennai Bakery

A project executed while studying at UNT.

 
Having grown tired of the same familiar food everyday, Madras Mahadevon set out to realize a dream. He opened the first French-style bakery that Chennai had ever seen. The strange combination of French and Indian flavors was an over-night success.
 
This identity combines elements from both French and Indian visual language and culture. My goal was to create a brand that very closely mirrored uniqueness of the client, without over designing and stereotyping.
